Our Story
Jean BAUCHAU started his first company in 1989, NIALCO SA, after he gained experience at the purchase company of his uncle in Antwerp to source products for his warehouse in Liberia.
He has always been involved in the trading of steel and non-ferrous products, and after gaining trust from regular customers he also started trading other construction products such as cables, glass, ciment, wooden poles, etc.
In 2020, Jean sold NIALCO SA and retired in 2021.
Missing the trading business, he then started MATEXCO ITS SA in 2025. His son Olivier joined him in 2026 and took over the company.
